December 16th, 2009all about me!, randomI started the year with a list of rules. I broke some, I followed others. But I learned a lot.
Things I learned in 2009:
~I like being pushy.
~I’m a complainer.
~Finding the positive is pretty awesome.
~I create my own stress most of the time.
~Not looking for a “life path” makes life a lot easier.
~Everything works it’s self out. EVERYTHING.
~I change myself to adapt to the people and situations around me.
~I’m a really chill person because of the above.
~Life is sometimes annoying because of the two things above.
~My friends are my one of my greatest assets.
~Not looking for love really does work.
~My son still needs a nap.
~I hate washing my face. -
November 10th, 2009all about me!, creative writing, in progress, stuff i likeSo, I’m taking a break from writing to write this.
This year I decided write a novel. To jump start that I’m, participating in nanowrimo. It’s 50,000 words in 30 days. I’m at about 2800 words and running out of ideas.
I’m about to start writing in people I know and making them do fun things. Fun as in stuff they would never do in real life.
Wish me luck.

October 28th, 2009all about me!, birthday gifts I want!, stuff i likeIt’s almost my favorite time of year – my birthday.
With 101 days to go (I’ll be 30 – So exciting!), I thought I should make my birthday gift requests now. Yes, I know I’ll never get what I want. But, it’s fun to wish for awesomely pretty things.
First up:

I’d like that please. You may buy it here.

October 10th, 2009all about me!, in progress, random, things I must doIs there such a thing? Well, there needs to be.
Last week I went on a bread, beer, and cheese bonanza. My tummy puffed out like I was 4 months pregnant. It was funny, until I couldn’t fit into my clothes. THAT SUCKED.It seems that ignoring my allergies is making them angrier.
So, short story shorter, I can’t ignore my allergies anymore (or I can just lay off the bread, beer, and cheese for a bit). But how can I say no to cheese and bread? It’s been a constant struggle for the last 6 years. I guess the solution is: one step at a time, one day at a time.
Gluten free beer anyone?

September 8th, 2009all about me!, datingAt the end of July I decided to try my hand at online dating again. The result: a bunch of emails, answering (tons of) questions, shelling out a little cash (I gave eHarmony a try this time), and no one really exciting. I even decided to maximize my results and signed up on date.com, eharmony.com, zoosk.com, and okcupid.com.
Here’s what I found out – I’m picker than I thought, emails back and forth sometimes bore me to tears, and I like living in my offline life better than my online life (sorry Twitter, that includes you too).
Conclusion: I deleted all of my profiles.
Conclusion to the conslusion: Yeah, who knows. But, I’ll continue to live contently in my offline life.

July 27th, 2009all about me!, randomMy wedding bonanza is over! It was fun while it lasted. I don’t have pictures of what I wore to the first wedding or the last wedding, but I can assure you that I did not disappoint. lol.
Wedding number 1: Chocolate brown halter dress, wore a little vest to cover up my tattoos.
Wedding number 2: This awesomely cute dress I got from Target, designed by Thakoon. Here’s a picture: click me!
Wedding number 3: Shimmery gold halter dress with a heavy necklace to give a little contrast to my delicate dress. I’m sure there’s a picture of me somewhere.
I also realized that I’m more of a camera whore than I thought. Hey, I’m not ashamed! I’m cute and deserve to have (good) pictures taken of me!

July 24th, 2009365 without, all about me!, datingSo my awesome freind Bethro so called me out yesterday. So you know what that means: confession time!
I, Dianna, have not really abstained from dating. I’ve have a few dates here and there, so my 365 of no dating is closer to: 365 of trying not to date and not being really good at it.
But, in all honesty I did have an actual period of time that I did really didn’t want to even think about dating, going on a date, finding a date, or date night. I feel like I’m in a place where I feel like I want to date AND I have an idea of what I want.
But, I change my mind like every 5 days, so we’ll see what happens.
